What a ghastly sight!

After becoming aware of my Ugly, Flabby Upper Arms, I began searching for a Keep Fit appliance that would help me to tone my arms and upper body as quickly as possible, now that Spring is on its way, with all the bare-armed fashions that we all like to wear.

I doubt seriously most claims made by this product but I bought one and use it and it does make you feel pumped and tired if you work it hard my main interest in this is that I believe and this is my own conclusion that this product will help stimulate your fast twitch muscle fibers where curls and free weights can not this is a completely different way to train your muscles and looking for any edge I can get in conditioning tired of being too bulky too so first days work out and I must say im feeling fatigued! 6 minutes

I bought one last month and I have to say that it actually worked for me. My strength has improved. But the first two weeks I was realy sore.

I’ll disclaim by saying I haven’t used this product much; I just bought it yesterday.

However, you comment that “I will buy it if it works on my core even a little.” It does. When doing any of the exercises, it forces you to hold your core tight, especially the one-sided arm exercise.

I can’t say how “much” it will work your core.

I love this product! I am laughing a little at the other reviews because people think that this shakes on its own or has batteries… people, no. If that was the case you wouldn’t be getting a work out. YOU make it shake to get the workout, yes it is going to tire your arms (it’s suposed to) and you’ll feel a little sore the next day, that is part of working out, that is a good thing, that is how you build muscle. :) Hope that helps others. If there were batteries it would be like working out on cruise control and you’d never get results.

Simply, it does what it says, no you will not pick it up and look like a model by Monday, it takes time and practice to really get it right and see results. It is not difficult to figure out, but if you want something that is going to do all the work for you this isn’t it, it’s not complicated but it does require you to work for what you want. I would definitely recommend the Shake Weight and the video makes it soo easy to learn how to get the most out of it too!

I am very satisfied and have seen results. It’s easy to use and all it takes is about 15 minutes a day. This product works and I’m no weight lifter.

I recently had a serious back surgery and I am always looking for new things to keep me motivated exercising as it is very important for me to avoid further back problems. The novelty aspect of Shake Weight Dumbbell attracted my attention.

This weight is a molded plastic handle with a spring at each end that compresses and extends as you shake it back and forth. I like them because they add a bit of variety to my exercise routine. However, they are not providing a harder workout or burning more calories than the traditional weights. A recent Consumer report (July 2011) did electrocardiographic studies to judge how effective the Shake Weight system is and found that it is not any better than traditional weights. It does not not mean you should not use these weights, the study just clarifies that it is not a magic bullet. Any resistance exercise builds strength and any movement burns calories, and so does Shake Weight system.

If the novelty of Shake weight gets you exercising it did its job!

I brought the shake weight from my local wal-mart a week ago and I have been doing the 6 minute workout and I have to say I see the results already my upper body’s starting to form you just have to give it 110% everytime plus a great diet helps too

Yes, it really does work. I’m in my 50s and did not like my arms especially my elbows. Even tho my weight is normal my arms were not very tone and I had loose skin around my elbows. I’ve been using the shake weight every day for about 5 weeks and see a huge difference. I now don’t mind wearing a sleeveless top and feel my arms look more toned and fatty skin at my elbows is gone. I make sure that i grip the weight tight with both hands and shake for several minutes, then do behind my back over my head for 50 counts (work up to 50) then in each hand at my side for 50 counts each. That’s it -I do it while I watch tv. It works!!!

So, they obviously think that it DOES work, if you use it properly! I’ll add my comment when I have received mine and had sufficient time to use it.

Today, I’m going to pass on a few tips now to help and encourage you, if you are constantly battling to lose weight.

All  of these foods offer very poor nutritional value and consequently, they will not enable you to stay physically fit in the process.

3. Drink plenty of Water- Water actually promotes weightloss and keeps your system healthy by flushing toxins out of the body through your kidneys and colon.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots – The Findings
